The Australian open fever is here!the tournament started last monday with its first round matches getting underway. it is now in 4th round and the quarter final stage and every match is getting more and more exciting..it has official disrupted my life because i got to stay up late to complete things that need to be done becoz i caught the matches earlier on...each match i watch is about 3hours..some goes as long as 4 or 5hours....its much longer than a soccer match...but the joy comes when those players product some magic with this rackets to hit some unexpected and glorious shot...
I watched an epic match between Andy Roddick and Fernando Gonzales ytd.Andy roddick is seeded 7 and gonzales 11.Gonzales started the match brillantly with a few winners and led 2-1 on set after the third set...roddick looks set and destined for defeat until he came up with the magic in the 4th set,game at 6-5 with gonzales serving,gonzales have a lead at 40-0 over roddick and most will think he will wrap up this set and go on to win the tie break and the match,but he made a few mistakes and roddick captialised to win the game...the score is now 2-2 into the final set..
Roddick didnt look back since the 4th set victory and claim the 5th quickly, breaking gonzales serve and winning the set 6-2...roddick wins the match 3 sets - 2.
Just magnificent and as a result, i stayed up till 2am to finish the fyp that needs to be done..so i skip lecture in the morning and went for tutorial.I'm now in a midst of a fyp meeting.
Let's get it over and done with!

future
it has been running in my mind for quite some time.Everytime i wan to seriously think about it,somehow it just slip away becoz there's some sch work or some other things on my mind.There comes a day when i seriously need to sit down and assess the situation and making a right decision,a realistic one, a practical one,one that can feed me and not one that is based on my interest.Sports science is always on my lips whenever ppl ask me what i'm gonna study in future but when i come to tink about it,izzit a viable option?From another angle,sports is growing in singapore with events such as the YOG coming up and also SEA games which will be held in SG.SG is placing more hopes on young talents which also means more job opportunities for sports science students becoz they will need ppl to assess the students ability,help them to achieve their potential,etc.
A few things to think about and nowadays its like a sudden topic whenever u talk to anyone,a topic about the future would be brought up and suddenly it makes u wan to consider seriously about it.Although i always have a few courses that i would like study in future but its not only a matter if i want to study but i need to think about how i would cope with them and what i would face in the course.weigh up the good and bad den make a sound decision.Right after army,its straight to studying.
I'm just about to grad from poly and enter into army but i'm looking forward to uni life and it will be another start in my life.
Enough abt this,this weekend is a hectic one,however,if i survive thru and complete everything that needs to be completed,i might just wake up at the start of the week feeling like a hero becoz the amount of work is just massive...
Anyway, i went to change the grip of my tennis racket at queensway,finally the grip is changed and i am all ready to return to the court.Anyone wans to play pls jio me..its time to beat some opponents.=D
Driving tmr,not playing soccer tmr becoz needa do work.

Happy and tired
After trying out for so many times,i finally got my house to run on wireless printing and its now more convenient for printing documents....
had fyp meeting today even though there is no sch,feeling very tired nd lack of sleep.the week is ending soon,napfa is on friday...so dead.deadlines are nearing..
most importantly,sch is ending in no time..just 1.5months away.=D

2010
1st day of 2010.plenty of pleasant and unpleasant events tat happened on this day for the past 19years but of coz pleasant more than unpleasant.
ytd marks the end of 2009,a fulfilling year for me,faced with lots of challenges and of coz i got to experience quite a few events in this year.The most significant being the liverpool friendly match in singapore.It was my first time watching a soccer match at the kallang stadium and it was also the first time i'm watching my team LIVE,the last time they visit singapore it was in 2001 and i was too poor then to buy tickets to watch.I also got to catch National Day 2009.First time catching it on the floating platform and it was phenomenum,just pure awesome to be able to soak intot he entire atmosphere and enjoy that very day. 2009 also marks my 3rd year of poly life which means i will graduate soon and serve the nation,not so much to look forward to serve the nation but rather graduating as soon as possible is just a great feeling and something big to look forward to.
As each year passes,i feel i'm starting to mature,every now and then i get enlightened about something and that pushes me to a higher level and hopefully i can sustain.
2009 also marks a horrible ankle injury that kept me out for 6months from sports,glad that its all over.
Swimming wise,2009 had been a great year.Part time lifeguard,Amard of Merit holder in lifesaving,improving on my swimming skills and stroke.i am looking forward to better things in 2010,Distinction Award in lifesaving,skill test,coaching.
This holidays is a very fulfilling one,its only 2weeks but i caught 3movies going for my 4th movie tonight,went for a 3day 2night chalet at sentosa,went for karaoke session and of coz doing projects.It will be the last holiday that i am going to enjoy in poly life becoz after my exams,its not a holiday anymore,i officially graduate from the school so theres no need for any holidays,i can play all i want till i go army.
Right now,2010 looks bright to me i hope it will be the same for everyone of you out there.Enjoy this very day and bye!
